How to Cook Meatballs

Many people have their meatballs along with Swedish or Italian cuisines. Meatballs are not only congenial to these two cuisines but are actually enjoyed worldwide. Wherever you go the basic ingredients still remain the same. The difference comes in the unique flavors and seasonings added in each country’s cuisine. Basic Ingredients/Utensils

It doesn’t matter where in the world you eat them. Meatballs will usually have the same basic ingredients in whatever country whose cuisine you’d like to sample. You basically need ground meat, which will form your base ingredient. For a simple dish you might want to start with a kilo of ground meat.

You’ll need a cup of chopped onions, a fourth cup of milk, a large egg, one third cup of breadcrumbs, a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and chopped garlic.

Drop meatballs one by one and fry them for about 15 up to 20 minutes until they turn brown. Remember to use medium heat when you fry. Drain excess oils by placing them on paper towels. You can now serve them or add them to another dish.

Oven Cooking

Here’s how to cook meatballs in an oven. Your oven should be preheated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease your baking pan and arrange your meatballs on top. Bake your meatballs 20 to 25 minutes until they turn brown.
