How to Bake a Smoked Ham

The other ingredients for this recipe are ¼ cup chopped onion, a tablespoon butter, ½ cup ketchup, ¼ cup water, two tablespoons vinegar and a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Aside from these ingredients, you need ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper to enhance the natural flavor of the meat.

Place a saucepan over low heat. Melt the butter in the pan and sauté the onion. Add the water, vinegar, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup in the saucepan. Stir for two minutes to three minutes. Remove the pan from heat.

Slice the ham into several portions. Arrange the slices in a baking dish. Pour the sauce over the meat. Place the dish in an oven that was preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook for half hour and serve immediately.
