How to Cook Cod

Cod is commonly described as a fish that has white flesh, mild flavor and low cholesterol content. Easiest Spicy Cod

If you do not have ample time to prepare dinner for your loved ones, you can always try this delicious recipe. It contains 1 ½ pounds cod fillets, two cups salsa, two tablespoons chopped parsley, ½ teaspoon pepper and ½ teaspoon salt. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a baking pan with a teaspoon of olive oil. Arrange fish fillets in the pan. Top the fillets with salsa and sprinkle with pepper and salt. Place the pan inside the oven and bake the dish for 30 minutes to 40 minutes. To enjoy the taste, serve the dish with a cup of rice.

Lemon Pepper Cod

The essential ingredients in this delectable dish are 1 ½ pounds cod fillets and a cup of lemon juice. Aside from these, the dish contains three tablespoons vegetable oil and ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper. Place a pan over medium heat. Pour oil and fry the fish fillets for four minutes. Pour ½ cup of lemon juice over the fillets. Cook the other side of the fillets. Pour the remaining cup of the juice over the other side of the seafood. Cook for another four minutes. Remove from the pan and serve immediately.

Spanish Cod

In this mouth watering viand, you will need six cod fillets, a tablespoon of butter, a tablespoon of olive oil, ¼ cup chopped onion, two tablespoons chopped garlic, a cup of tomato sauce, 15 cherry tomatoes and ½ cup chopped green olives. In addition to these, you will use ¼ cup marinated Italian vegetable salad, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper and ¼ teaspoon paprika.

Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Saute garlic and onion. Add the cherry tomatoes and tomato sauce. Wait for the mixture to simmer. Add the marinated vegetables and green olives. Season with paprika, cayenne pepper and black pepper. Put the fish fillets in the skillet and cook for eight minutes. Transfer the dish to a bowl and serve immediately.
